主要探索两方面的内容:(1)雌雄异株植物如何驱动土壤养分循环;(2)植物抗逆性的性别差异与内生菌关系。目前,正在以分子、代谢和生理等方法研究植物与微生物菌群关系。主持国际自然科学基金1项,浙江省自然科学基金1项,参与国家重点基金1项,以第一作者与通讯作者身份在Trends in Microbiology, Microbiome, Soil Biology and Biochemistry,Horticulture Research, Tree Physiology,Forest Ecology and Management,Journal of Forestry Research,Environmental and Experimental Botany发表论文,其中1篇在2020年成为高被引论文,其中多数论文发表在本研究领域Top类期刊,1篇在2020年成为高被引论文。
